Dude's 11 Best What Is This Thing? Challenges of 2020

I ran Dude's first What Is This Thing? challenge in August 2019. Since then I've found 72 more strange or puzzling products online to feature in the weekly visual riddle series, and honestly, it hasn't been that hard. There is a lot of weird, or at least weird-looking, shit out there.

For those who aren't familiar with What Is This Thing?, it's pretty simple: one photo; 3 hints; and one question: what is this thing?

The photo above is the original What Is This Thing? entry from August 10, 2019. Note this is a closeup of one end of the product. The other end is just an extension of the blue shaft, and is capped off flat with a piece of the yellow plastic. Here are its hints:

  1. It is a standalone product, not a piece of something larger.
  2. It has a single, specific application.
  3. It comes in 4 different lengths.
