Not the "-ing" descriptor I would have gone with over "chilling," "disturbing," or possibly for die-hard Alien franchise fans who have numbed themselves to toothy, slimy Xenomorph Queens, "intriguing." But I like it. Charming. Sure. A Wooden Alien Skull Phone Stand is charming.
Vadim uses linden wood to carve his dead aliens, choosing it for its softness and lightness (two more words I'd never otherwise associate with the subject matter.) The finished piece is tinted in a super cool blue-green-purple stain, and covered with wax and linseed oil to give it an iridescence that is - here's a good one - captivating.
The Wooden Alien Skull is 5-1/2" tall x 12" long x 3-1/2" wide and weighs just under 1 pound.
