Geyser Systems' forthcoming portable hot shower invites campers, athletes, festival goers, and all dirty, sweaty people to suds up from anywhere with a single gallon of water. The two-tubed Geyser apparatus does need a car charger for plugin, and will take 20 to 30 minutes to heat up your 4 quarts (8 pints, 16 cups, 256 tablespoons...) of grime-remover, but if you have the tech and can stand the wait, oh how good it will feel to access a scrubdown after a long hike on a camping trip, or the morning after the first night of a weekend-long Phish show.
You can also use the Geyser hot shower to clean off dishes and gear. A sponge attaches to the end of its hose for continuous, but controlled, water flow that lasts up to 7 minutes per gallon. Geyser Systems will launch its portable hot shower on Kickstarter in the coming weeks - you can sign up to be notified of the launch date on the Geyser Systems website.
