Wire Mustang

Wire Mustang

You've heard the term "wire money," but Conty Fonane's 1967 Ford Mustang GT500 here is some real Wire. Money. Unlike anything I've ever seen or heard of before. The Lesotho-born, South Africa-based artist bends and winds stainless steel wire and aluminum tubes into stunning automotive models.

This wire Mustang is one of Fonane's life-size replicas. It took him 7 months to complete and, in my opinion, bests the 14' Hoff. The GT500 body sits atop rubber tires, and further wows with a complete, intricate interior, and systems under the hood.

If you like the wire 1967 Ford Mustang GT500, or want another car wired up to your specifications, Fonane has started building custom cars by request.
