Acer Predator Thronos Air Gaming Chair
Why save up for college or retirement when you can save up for Acer's forthcoming Predator Thronos Air Gaming Chair, and spend the rest of your life inside digital worlds where a college eduction and 401K don't matter?
A follow-up to the original Predator Thronos, Acer debuted the Thronos Air at the 2019 IFA (that stands for Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin for those who never knew and are mildly curious). According to the Predator website, Thronos Sr. will run you $29,999 United States Dollars, so that means you'd actually be saving over half your investment in an immersive video game theater / spaceship by going with the Air. It also accounts for the Air's moniker. Acer has lightened up on the price, and some of its bells and whistles, on this second model.
For example, Thronos Air dispenses of its daddy's motorized monitor arm, though the chair and its cage are still able to mount 3 monitors (not included) and contain an adjustable mouse, keyboard tray, and footrest. Additional details were sparse at printing, but you can get a sense of what the Air will look like above, and watch for full disclosure and availability from Acer in Q4 of 2019.
