Whole Body Vibration Fitness Machine

Not sure how well this type of vibrator is gonna over if you're looking for a gift for a woman. On the upshot, Lifepro says its Waver Vibration Plate Exercise Machine will pulsate gentle vibrations throughout the entire body, stimulating both muscles and bone cells, to help users burn fat, lose weight, and restore neuromuscular balance. Vibration machines like the Womanizer really only hit one body part and, last I checked, my wife hasn't lost any weight from her very frequent use of it. As for her neuromuscular balance, well...no comment.

I haven't tested out Lifepro's model of vibration machine, but I have tested out another, larger model total body jiggler at a hotel gym. It's trippy. Not in a bad, and sometimes in a literal way. The vibrations aren't going to fling you aside like a Chevy in the path of King Kong, but they will increase the challenge of exercises you do on the machine itself. That's anything from lunges and squats, to planks and pushups, to just standing on top of the platform while doing curls and overhead presses.

The Waver Vibration Plate Exercise Machine is designed and sized especially for home workouts. Those eager for you to buy it say you'll need just 10 minutes a day in your living room with the vibrator to achieve what you would during 60 minutes of conventional exercise. Since they don't define what "conventional exercise" means, I'm guessing it's the equivalent of 60 minutes of an elliptical machine on Level 2. Or doing 10 reps of chest presses, then dicking around on your phone for 5 minutes before doing another 10, all while hogging one of the only two flat benches in the weight room. After the 10-minute vibe session, the vibration machine is small enough to stuff under furniture or in a closet.

Lifepro's Waver Vibration Plate Exercise Machine also comes with a pair of loop bands and set of resistance bands to enhance workouts. The plate has a control pad on its surface, plus comes with a remote control.
