When I see the Genius Gamer supplement, a so-called "elite gaming nootropic," I think of SNL's Amazon Echo Silver commercial. Specifically, the part where the senior hears what Alicia / Allegra / Anita / Odessa says in response to their inquiry and goes, "Hrrmph. I don't know 'bout that."
Genius Gamer promises mental clarity, energy, focus, enhanced reaction time, and even blue light eye protection courtesy of Lutemax, a trademarked version of lutein and zeaxanthin. It's like the Boxaball, some fidget toys, and gaming glasses all rolled into a poppable pill! It's almost too good to be true.
Or maybe it's entirely too good to be true. Despite a lot of positive reviews, I haven't tried Genius Gamer, and I'm not sure that I will, given that I'm not looking to "become an esports legend" like the cognitive function supplement suggests. I just want me and my friend Cornelius to stop getting taken out by 10-year-olds in Fortnite.
