Able to run as a refrigerator or a true freezer - down to -4 degrees F - the Alpicool line can run on a 12V or 24V car battery. Alpicool says its food coolers also have a 3-stage car battery protection system to ensure, regardless of how many tasty snacks and beverages it allowed you to bring along, it doesn't end up leaving you stranded with them waiting for a jump.
If you're still skeptical, you can plug your Alpicool into a Yeti Portable Power Station or the like instead.
