Heatbit says it's a space heater that also...mines Bitcoin. That is, it warms up to 500 square feet of interior space, while it...generates cryptocurrency. For you to spend. Presumably on the electric bill you'll get after running a Bitcoin-mining space heater.

Many of you dudes and ladies, this Dude included, may be wondering if Heatbit is for real. Well, it's certainly a real, tangible product, for sale at printing for $1,199 in Orange, White, or Wooden finishes.

It's also almost certainly a real, functional space heater, since those have a pretty good track record of existing and doing what they say they do.

But is it a real Bitcoin mining machine, and, more importantly, will it actually create some digital coin for you? I mean, I guess? I don't know much about crypto miners, but I know they're machines that get really hot and could be fashioned to look like a space heater. And also that they use mucho power. So the idea of building one that, like most other miners, probably won't make you rich, but could serve a useful purpose when you're cold, plus ultimately pay for itself, and the electricity it consumes, is...a really neat, and kind of elegant idea. Good job, crypto geeks!
