I've never understood why people drop hundreds of dollars on things like blue jeans and wine when Carhartt's and 2 Buck Chuck will do just fine jobs of covering your ass and getting you drunk. But spending hundreds of dollars on a pen, now that's another thing. That's...yeah...still ridiculous. But at least this handmade bolt action design from Japanese knife maker and artist Hidetoshi Nakayama will last a lot longer than 20 minutes to down the wine and another 45 to stumble home with She-Ra: Princess of Power on your back, trip over a curb, and tear up your pants (plus entire leg) on the cement.

Hidetoshi Nakayama is internationally recognized for his detail skills and old world craftsmanship. He makes all of his pens by hand, so no two are ever exactly alike. This bolt action issue features polished finish steel, ring detailing, and a pair of hand-carved pieces of ebony wood. It holds a Schmidt P900 (Parker Style) cartridge, refillable by unscrewing the pen's tip.

The Hidetoshi Nakayama ebony wood bolt action pen measures 5-1/2" long x 1/2" thick and weighs 1.4 ounces.
