Triple Barrel Shotgun
I don't know how to shoot a gun, or really even how to hold a gun without soiling my pants, but I bet if someone put one gun in my hands and another to my head and demanded I use the former to fire at a watermelon dangling from a fishing line 50 yards away, my chances of hitting it with Chiappa's Triple Crown or Triple Threat triple-barreled shotgun would be 3 times as good. Also, I might take the moment of distraction my assailant would inevitably experience after the boom of my initial shot as an opportunity to weave and bob under his gun, and then roundhouse kick it out of his hands before using the two remaining rounds in my Chiappa to make threats about popping a cap in his ass unless he...unless he...uh...grills me up some 5-star motherfucking ribs!
In January 2013 Turkish gunmaker Chiappa introduced two 12-gauge triple barrel shotguns. Both have "Rem-choke" and a 3" x 3" Magnum capacity, but the Triple Crown boasts three 28" barrels, while the Triple Threat's measure 18-1/2". The Threat also includes a wooden stock that can be partly disassembled, as it is intended as a home defense weapon. The Crown should put a glint in the eyes of sportsmen.
Neither shotgun has a barrel selector, but rather fire clockwise, beginning with the lower right barrel. They aren't the first triple barrel guns to be released--shotgun and rifle combination guns called Drillings gained popularity after WWI in Europe--but someone who has presumably gazed upon a lot of gun barrels noted in a review that they may be the first 3 barrelers with this particular capacity and configuration.
