The HydraLamp Anti-Gravity Fountain Lamp is cool on its own and all, but what really makes this neat display piece a candidate for your living room are the cat and Corgi. Check out the videos. These two are as baffled about the HydraLamp's anti-gravity water drop technology as I am, but look way, way more endearing trying to figure it out.
Talk about a thing that makes you go awww.
The HydraLamp's design comes from Red Dot, iF Design Award, and Good Design award winners BRUCE & DOTO. It achieves its floating, flowing water droplet effect using negative ions to clear the air around the water. Setup is simple: add some clean, still water; and plug the HydraLamp in.
The lamp "cage" can function as-is, or you can add some additional visual interest snapping in the included magnetic hourglass pieces. I myself prefer the pet fun that can ensue with an open, interactive HydraLamp though. My cat Zanzibar is about to have his mind blown.
