Breaking Physics Cauliflower
Nothing like looking at a nice alien head of cauliflower to jump start my morning! I almost didn't need coffee to wake up when I saw this little green man cruciferous vegetable. I feel like I could use it as the subject of my next What Is This Thing?
And you dudes would immediately guess, "Sex toy!"
But even with all its nubby spires and greenness, it's really cauliflower. Or it will be, if you cultivate your soil and grow the packet of seeds you'll get from Seeds & Swine with love and care and scientific precision.
While better known as Romanesco cauliflower, I think Seeds & Swine has a much better name in Breaking Physics Cauliflower for the fractal phenomenon that blooms from these stems. The "professors' patch" sells seeds in packets of at least 10, all organic, grown and harvested without the use of chemicals or pesticides. They recommend planting the cauliflower embryos in cooler areas / seasons to achieve optimal growth, indicated by an adult alien head size of 1 to 3 pounds.
