I'm on a boat, motherf**ker! ... And, huh. Also, somehow, a classic car. ... B**ch! Floating Motors is proposing to transform the style and spirit of iconic cars ranging from VWs to Lambos into electric or standard motor-powered vessels that will allow you and a friend Cornelius or two to cruise your wheels on water.

Floating Motors has yet to produce their car boats, but is seeking funding and preorders they say will allow them to fully develop their "resto-floating" plans. The idea is based on the resto-mod segment of the auto industry, wherein a classic car is aesthetically restored to its original glory, but fitted with modern parts and technology under the hood. Floating Motors says they will replicate their classic car models' proportions and sizes, but add "the most modern nautical techniques for the floating hull."

Car boat buyers will have a choice of catamaran, conventional, or foil hull, as well as motor type when they make a purchase.
