Wilson Dearborn Tailgater Pant
Bonus points, Wilson, for blessing the Dearborn Tailgater Pant with an elastic waist. You know exactly what kind and quantity of food and drink sports fans will be partaking in while wearing them. Whether watching the game at a tailgate or my friend Cornelius' house, it's nice to know I'll be able to down brats, BBQ baked beans, and a bevy of brews without bemoaning not being able to unzip my pants in public.
I'm not so sure about the Dearborn Tailgater Pant's highwater design choice though. Wilson tries to be all, "An ankle-length fit means no hemming necessary," but I mean, we're fall now, heading into winter. And most tailgates are football-related, and football takes place in fall and winter. Why do I want some dandy beach pants for the coldest part of the year? The only redeeming factor here - and it's a big one - is that now my beer mug leg warmers won't just look outstanding, they'll serve a real purpose too.
The Wilson Dearborn Tailgater Pant is made with water-resistant fabric, and features giant storage pockets made specifically to hold up to 3 cans or bottles. A tab sewn above the pants' front pocket helps provide grip for twist-off caps, and anchors bottle necks with caps that need an opener.
