Gore-Tex Boots
I guess Alpinestars' Web Gore-Tex boots are technically meant for use while riding motorcycles, but when I look at them I can't help but think they would also be terrific footwear for walking on the moon. Aren't those even stylized stars around the ankle and toe box?
Obviously I do not ride a motorcycle.
I'm actually kind of surprised they even gave me a license to drive a car. Thankful though. Thankful too for the power of duct tape, which has single-handedly held together my back end for at least 4 months now.
The Web Gore-Tex count waterproof and breathable as two of their braggable boot qualities, traits which enable riders to don a pair any day of the year. An outer side zip closure system makes for easy on/off, and internal comfort and support features include multi-density EVA padding, injection-molded plastic on the ankles, a heel and toe counter, and a plastic-molded shin plate covered by a pressure-stamped section of leather.
