Casio G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000
Casio's G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 is an ode to the original G-SHOCK model*, but with enough design and tech upgrades that the watch has gone from Dad with dad bod to Dad with got-into-CrossFit-and-low-carb-diet bod.
Obviously the G-SHOCK Full Metal 5000 is an all-metal watch (stainless steel) as opposed to shock-resistant urethane rubber, but it does retain the 1983 version's square case design and brick-patterned bezel. Additional enhancements include a super illuminator LED light and solar-powered battery for self-charging, plus Bluetooth connectivity for 2-way time sync and G-SHOCK app access. You'll also get the brand's Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, a little feature that will deliver precise hours, minutes, and seconds to your wrist from virtually anywhere on earth via radio signals from 6 different international transmitters.
